2024 was a fantastic year for the QFT with a broad range of diverse applicants from across the area of benefit. QFT awarded a total of £145,380 to 45 organisations and individuals.
The QFT has been a wonderful supporter of Faversham Pools. A recent grant helped our charity to purchase a new chemical storage tank for our outdoor pool, and before that a hoist to enable swimmers with disabilities, or older swimmers, access to enjoy our community pool. The impact of these grants has been significant. It’s simple to apply to the Trust, communication is effective, and at every stage we feel supported and encouraged with our work.
I am writing to thank Queenborough Fisheries Trust for the grant of £5000 which you awarded Iwade Barn in December 2021. This grant has made a big difference to the trust and has enabled us to move forward with the construction of our storage building. Thank you once again, on behalf of the Iwade@TheBarn Trustees and the residents of Iwade.
Thank you very much for this wonderful grant. The group in Sheppey will be so delighted and enjoy planning some great trips out in 2024.
I would like to thank all those involved in making this happen. The monies will help our safe area for kids get back to being very safe for all to use.
